Miri X510 Enables Remote Production Workflow Demo at FILO 2025
We had a great time exhibiting with our distributor MVD at the FILO 2025 conference this week. For those unfamiliar with it, the FILO conference provides technical artists with skills development, community and inspiration to maximize the effectiveness of their contributions to their local churches.
It was a fantastic event, and our own experience with internet connectivity during the conference provides an excellent example of how our X510 bonding router can help faith-based organizations achieve the internet performance they need to reliably stream between campuses and to their followers.
The event took place at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois (in the Chicago area). It’s an amazing facility, and was the perfect place to host the FILO community. But while Wi-Fi coverage was available throughout the venue, like most buildings there are areas where cellular coverage may under-perform depending on your carrier.
When our CTO Ryan arrived at the venue, speed tests with his phone on the AT&T network were showing just 0.25Mbps upload speed. Verizon and T-Mobile were performing better, but still only around 2Mbps upload – not nearly enough to be able to stream live HD video.
Ryan set up the X510 router to bond the internet connectivity from AT&T and Verizon hotspots; 4G and 5G SIM cards from Verizon and T-Mobile; as well as the venue’s Wi-Fi into one fast, resilient link. The result: download speeds close to 80Mbps, and upload speeds over 30Mbps!
This formed the internet backbone of a complete end-to-end remote production workflow that MVD demonstrated at the conference. Footage from Telycam Explore and Vision+ 4KZ cameras was fed into a Magewell Director One all-in-one production and streaming system, which switched between cameras and added graphics. An SRT output from Director One was streamed live from MVD’s FILO booth to the cloud, and then brought back down from the cloud and decoded for real-time display on a TV in the booth – with simultaneous upload and downloads happening from 5 to 7 Mbps each. That would not have been possible with just a single mobile data link in that particular location.

It’s also important to note that even if one provider had experienced a service disruption or performance reduction, the stream would have kept going – automatically failing over to the other connections.
