Behind the scenes: Miri X510 router saves Ecamm’s livestream during Creator Camp 2024
We took our new X510 network router on the road to Amesbury, MA in October 2024 to help Ecamm with faster, more reliable internet for their annual Creator Camp — and it’s a good thing we did!
One of the event venues was a brew pub in a valley, with mostly brick construction and poor cellular connectivity. The venue’s Wi-Fi was not intended for streaming, and became congested with dozens of local attendees connected at once. We used the X510 to bond the venue Wi-Fi with cellular connections and hotspots to enable seamless connectivity.
Ecamm streamed live from this challenging location, with the X510 “saving the live stream” (Ecamm’s words) even as the pub’s Wi-Fi went completely offline at times. Watch this video to learn more!
